Custom Digital Editing Services
I’ve been a wedding photographer since 2010 and have been providing custom editing and color correction services to professional photographers since 2015. I match the editing of your images to your existing portfolio so that your body of work continues to be cohesive and exactly the style that you prefer - whether it’s light and airy, dark and moody, or completely unique to you. I edit both digital and film images, and will also edit digital catalogs to match film scans.
Before and after examples are from different clients, each using different presets and editing preferences:
Pricing:
Editing RAW files: $0.35 per image
Editing JPEG files: $0.45 per image
Culling: $0.08 per image culled (not viewed)
Crop/straighten: $0.10 per image
Rush order: 1.5X total editing fee - bumps your order to first in line
Editing includes adjustments within the “basic” panel in Lightroom - exposure, color temp and tint, whites/highlights, shadows/black point. If you would like images converted to black and white please indicate the percentage of images you would like converted when you turn in your order.
Editing does not include spot corrections or brush tools. If you are in need of this type of editing please inquire about specific pricing.
Turnaround time:
Weddings & catalogs over 150 images: 10 days.
Portrait sessions (0-150 images): 7 days.
When you submit your order you will receive a more specific turnaround time estimate based on current orders in my editing queue.
I deliver finished orders via WeTransfer or Dropbox.
Samples:
To ensure that I deliver the best quality product possible I provide a selection of samples to you from each order while work is in progress. These are typically screen shots of images I have edited in your catalog, provided to you via email. Please review samples on a calibrated computer monitor and if you have notes for adjustments you would like I will happily apply your feedback.
New clients:
I edit 15-20 images for free as a trial order prior to taking on paid orders for you so that you can be sure I am able to match your style and editing preferences well. For your free edits I suggest sending a selection of images taken in different lighting situations.
If we haven’t worked together before or if your style is evolving, please provide me with anchor photos that you would like me to use as reference for your editing style. I can refer to a blog post or Instagram feed if preferred.
Submitting your order:
I accept Lightroom Smart Preview catalogs. Please zip or compress the Smart Preview files together and send the catalogs to me via a Dropbox link or WeTransfer. If you have any special notes pertaining to the order you’re sending over (for example - editing a catalog to be a little darker than your usual style, more black and white images than usual, etc.) please include those notes in an email or with your WeTransfer. You will be invoiced via PayPal after preview edits have been sent to you and any culling needed has been done.

New to using smart previews?
They are super easy to work with and make sending large orders easy since you don’t have to include the RAW files. Once you send over smart previews once it’s a piece of cake from there on.
