When I first got in touch with Leah & Ysaac they told me about their sweet plans to elope somewhere in nature with just a handful of friends that would fly in to enjoy an intimate celebration with them. One of my favorite things about elopements is the very intentional intimacy. This couple focused on the most important people in their lives as well as what they truly wanted in a wedding – not what tradition or family pressure may or may not dictate. We were so happy when they contacted our team at the Seattle Elopement Package since we got to help coordinate their vendor team as well as provide recommendations on locations based on our prior experience, assist with those logistics, and help bring such a special day to life.
Leah & Ysaac chose to elope at Washington’s Deception Pass State Park, my absolute favorite location I’ve ever shot at. It’s a journey to get there but worth every moment. We selected a secluded spot along the water in the park, waited until the perfect late afternoon light and enjoyed toasts and dinner with friends after the ceremony by Rev. Ray Van Winkle was concluded. This elopement featured hair and makeup by the fabulous Michelle Wight, florals by ever-amazing Anthera Floral and a custom cake with gorgeous hand-sculpted sugar flower from Honey Crumb Cake Studio.
