While prepping this blog post for Ly & Steven’s elopement in Pioneer Square I was shocked to see that my last blog post went live in August 2020. How is that possible!? I went a year and a half without blogging. Eek! Despite the pandemic, beautiful weddings happened in droves last year and I was busier than ever. (Definitely contributing to why I failed to find time for blog writing!)
At the end of 2020 it became clear to me that elopements, “micro-weddings”, and smaller events were not going to be a short term trend but instead a large chunk of the wedding world going forward. And I’m so happy that’s so. Micro weddings are especially sweet and since the beginning of the pandemic have been a perfect pivot for couples wanting to continue on with their plans to marry.
That leads me to the reason to share these photos today! Ly & Steven said their “I do”s with just two witnesses, their officiant and me. The couple booked my newest offering, The Seattle Elopement Package, a collective of five rockstar wedding vendors in Seattle that provides a solution to couples searching for an easier or less stressful way to plan their small wedding.
Our Seattle Elopement Package team provides photography, hair and makeup services, custom florals & cake, as well as the officiant for one flat fee and on one contract. All five vendors are booked at once, leaving couples to have time to enjoy the lead up to their wedding day instead of looking for a long list of vendors one at a time.
