You’ve got to check out this entire adorable elopement, captured in a private ceremony at the Schafer Baillie Mansion B&B in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This was one of the most memorable wedding days of my 2023 season and I couldn’t have had more fun.
When this couple first inquired and I learned that both partners’ names are Shoshana I was smitten with them! Lovingly nicknamed Sho and Shosh, this gorgeous duo traveled from the east coast to elope in Seattle. It was an honor to help them plan their trip out this way along with their elopement day itself, topped off by the priviledge of getting to sign their marriage license as a witness.
Sho & Shosh booked our Seattle Elopement Package team to help bring their vision for their elopement to life along with making planning more simple. Planning anything from afar, let alone your own wedding, can be complicated and our team loves assisting with keeping things easy. The couple chose the Shafer Baillie Mansion as the site for their private ceremony as well as their home base for a couple days of sightseeing around Seattle. After their “I do”s we took a short walk to Seattle’s Volunteer Park for portraits near the conservatory.
Sho and Shosh got to work with one of the best in the biz for hair and makeup, Offwhite Makeup and Beauty, who is a part of our Seattle Elopement Package team; as well as Anthera Floral for flowers. The couple gave us some direction on colors and specific blooms they love and the end results were beautiful! We all loved having Ray Van Winkle officiate this special ceremony, and also love that he’s a part of the elopement package team, too!
