Every wedding is special and unique, and Nadine & Darika’s intimate campground elopement in Leavenworth was no exception. While it was a huge privilege to witness two gorgeous women commit themselves to one another it was also powerful to see this family blend together and become one. Nadine’s son was overcome with emotion during the ceremony as he and his sister walked their mom to the arbor. It was an intensely candid and beautiful moment.
Nadine & Darika’s priority was to bring their friends and close family together where they could spend a couple of days with each other celebrating the wedding and simultaneously enjoying a few warm summer days in Leavenworth. They rented out a large campground site at the Tierra Learning Center just outside of Leavenworth, decorated the long-standing teepee, and set up a custom arbor to transform this campground into an intimate space for a wedding. Nadine & Darika found their wedding wear on Etsy and their guest book was filled with polaroids of each guest that enjoyed the weekend with them.
