Sunny Rosehill Community Center Wedding | Erin and Michael

Drag me!

Where do I begin with this sunny late summer wedding on the lawn at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo, overlooking Puget Sound and the ferry dock!? Erin and Michael’s incredible wedding was full of some of the sweetest vows and reception toasts I’ve ever heard, the ceremony couldn’t get any prettier, and their venue is one of my favorites. Rosehill Community Center is a perfect spot for both indoor and outdoor weddings with it’s floor to ceiling windows inside and huge lawn on the outside. I loved Erin’s delicate lace dress accented against Michaels’s bright blue suit. I’m a sucker for mis-matched bridal party attire, so the grey groomsmen suits with those floral ties absolutely won me over. Coupled with flowers by From the Ground Up in Seattle this wedding was filled with delicate style but it was just as sweet and sentimental as it was beautiful. Thank you to Erin & Michael for including me in your beautiful wedding day!

Erin and Michael had a fabulous team of vendors for their wedding day – including:

Coordinator – Britta’s Brides
Flowers – From the Ground Up
Venue – Rosehill Community Center
Film lab – The FIND Lab

The Rosehill Community Center is a super popular wedding location – both for the versatility of the venue space and because of it’s affordable pricing and flexible wedding policies! If you are searching for your perfect venue, RCC is a good one – just be prepared for them to show you a completely full summer schedule. Be willing to go for a non-peak day or an off-season wedding day and you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. If you’ve got questions about this venue or would like to chat with me about your vision for your wedding photography I’m here for you! ready to tell your story?

Hi, I’m alex! A seattle wedding photographer who’s been documenting your stories since 2009.

I fell in love with photography almost 20 years ago in a darkroom class, and that love has never faded. What started as a darkroom class in college turned into photographing my first wedding solo in 2010,and I was hooked. The joy. The emotion. The vows. The details. The people.

I realized quickly that my fulfillment came from helping people see themselves in a beautiful, honest way. I move calmly. I guide confidently. I know how to capture all the angles and candid moments without you even noticing. My couples often say I have “photo superpowers” because of how much I capture while still keeping everything feeling easy and low-pressure.

Some photographers find wedding days chaotic.

I find them electric.
