One of the things that I love most about weddings is how unique and personalized they can be to each couple. While all weddings have the same basic elements of a ceremony, exchange of vows and couples portraits everything beyond that can be customized and adjusted to fit each couple’s personality and taste. So, when Liz & Jimmy told me that they were planning a dinosaur themed wedding celebration I was head over heels excited to photograph this one (I’m a total dinosaur nerd). The centerpieces and decor at this wedding were 100% DIY, their ceremony was full of laughter, and their outdoor venue is such a unique space. That canopy cover to keep us shaded (or dry had it been damp outside) was a perfect way to enjoy the outdoors. We wandered into the strawberry fields at sunset after enjoying dozens of donuts for dessert. Thank you to Liz & Jimmy for including me in your incredible wedding day!

Fun fact – the large majority of the photos in this post were shot on film! I couldn’t get enough of those vibrant greens under the tree cover and without film to shoot it with it just wouldn’t have been the same 🙂
