Beautiful Delille Cellars Winery Wedding with Catie & KJ

Drag me!

Catie came downstairs from getting dressed, ready to go see her husband-to-be for the first time, saw the details decorating the reception space and outdoor dining space… and remarked about how her vision had come to life.  Her planning, hard work, and ideas had all come together to create the day that she dreamed of.  You have to see the details and thought that went into putting this whole wedding day together and know that the bride took this completely into her own hands, planned it from the ground up, and it turned out gorgeous.  These two are adventurous, bent on having fun, and make an incredible team together.

This wedding features a gorgeous Jenny Packham gown (that the bride purchased second hand from Australia), easily the funniest toasts I’ve ever heard, an incredible palate of colors and textures that the bridesmaids wore, DIY decor everywhere, and most important: a stunning bride and groom that are so amazing together.  To work for a couple like Catie & KJ is a dream, as they made my job easy (and massively fun), and I hope to be able to call them friends for decades to come.  Catie & KJ, congratulations on your marriage and such an incredible wedding.  Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of it!

ready to tell your story?

Hi, I’m alex! A seattle wedding photographer who’s been documenting your stories since 2009.

I fell in love with photography almost 20 years ago in a darkroom class, and that love has never faded. What started as a darkroom class in college turned into photographing my first wedding solo in 2010,and I was hooked. The joy. The emotion. The vows. The details. The people.

I realized quickly that my fulfillment came from helping people see themselves in a beautiful, honest way. I move calmly. I guide confidently. I know how to capture all the angles and candid moments without you even noticing. My couples often say I have “photo superpowers” because of how much I capture while still keeping everything feeling easy and low-pressure.

Some photographers find wedding days chaotic.

I find them electric.
