Catie came downstairs from getting dressed, ready to go see her husband-to-be for the first time, saw the details decorating the reception space and outdoor dining space… and remarked about how her vision had come to life. Her planning, hard work, and ideas had all come together to create the day that she dreamed of. You have to see the details and thought that went into putting this whole wedding day together and know that the bride took this completely into her own hands, planned it from the ground up, and it turned out gorgeous. These two are adventurous, bent on having fun, and make an incredible team together.
This wedding features a gorgeous Jenny Packham gown (that the bride purchased second hand from Australia), easily the funniest toasts I’ve ever heard, an incredible palate of colors and textures that the bridesmaids wore, DIY decor everywhere, and most important: a stunning bride and groom that are so amazing together. To work for a couple like Catie & KJ is a dream, as they made my job easy (and massively fun), and I hope to be able to call them friends for decades to come.
