Waterfront Alderbrook Resort and Spa Destination Wedding

Drag me!

Words cannot properly describe my feelings about Andy & Alli’s incredible waterfront wedding at Alderbrook Resort and Spa. I am lucky enough to have known Alli since 2011 and when I was asked if I would be interested in photographing her wedding I knew every detail would be meaningful and lovingly planned. I did not expect this wedding to be so over-the-top gorgeous and the style of it to be such a perfect reflection of Andy & Alli’s sweet and classic personalities. They have been vacationing at Alderbrook Resort for a couple of years and got engaged there, so it made perfect sense that they should also be married there. Their story is so cute it makes my cheeks hurt and I am so grateful to have had the chance to photograph such an incredible celebration. Bonus! They asked baby Henry to come along and cuddled him after the ceremony. He was just six weeks old and the cutest wedding guest ever!

The waterside marriage ceremony at Alderbrook Resort was so picturesque and the clear reception tent nestled in between the trees was epic.

Please make sure to check out the vendor list at the end of this post, as this team KILLED it and it was such a pleasure working with the whole crew. You can also find this wedding featured on Apple Brides! Thank you, Alli & Andy for including me in your beautiful wedding day!

ready to tell your story?

Hi, I’m alex! A seattle wedding photographer who’s been documenting your stories since 2009.

I fell in love with photography almost 20 years ago in a darkroom class, and that love has never faded. What started as a darkroom class in college turned into photographing my first wedding solo in 2010,and I was hooked. The joy. The emotion. The vows. The details. The people.

I realized quickly that my fulfillment came from helping people see themselves in a beautiful, honest way. I move calmly. I guide confidently. I know how to capture all the angles and candid moments without you even noticing. My couples often say I have “photo superpowers” because of how much I capture while still keeping everything feeling easy and low-pressure.

Some photographers find wedding days chaotic.

I find them electric.
