Georgetown Ballroom Wedding Complete with Pin Ball and a Balloon Drop

Balloon drops and pin ball at a wedding? Sign me up! When I first talked with Erin & Jordan about their wedding photography they described their plans to me and I instantly wanted to be a part of their big day. Erin & Jordan moved here from the mid-west several years ago and live near the Georgetown neighborhood in Seattle, so when they started planning their wedding they deliberately chose a venue and elements that showed off their favorite aspects of their adopted home town to visiting relatives. Their personalities are colorful and fun-loving and their wedding was right in line with that.

After the couple’s first look we took a walk to Flip Flip Ding Ding! in the Georgetown neighborhood for some relaxing game play and funky wedding party photos. We wanted the wedding party portraits to feel true to the Georgetown vibe - so the wall murals and street art were perfect for this! The couple and their wedding party danced down the aisle during the ceremony and after the “I do”s they recessed under an avalanche of brightly colored balloons. Is there a way that we can do balloon drops at every wedding?

The Georgetown Ballroom was a perfect venue for this vibrant and sweet couple and being part of their wedding day was such a treat. Also, fried chicken for dinner and donuts for dessert? It gets better and better and better! Thank you, Erin & Jordan, for including me in your wedding day!

Thank you to Flip Flip Ding Ding for letting us crash your space for some photos and the Georgetown Ballroom for being such wonderful hosts!
