I don’t get to photograph too many family portrait sessions but every time I shoot one entirely on film it refreshes a part of my creative soul that needs that extra boost now and then. I am so grateful for friends and clients that allow me to stretch my creative ideas and document our time together exclusively with my favorite medium. Last winter while I was in New Jersey for a wedding, I finally got to meet a long time friend who I had only ever known through the wonder of Facebook to photograph her beautiful family. Sarah is a talented photographer and kick butt yoga teacher and I just wish she lived closer to Seattle so that we could see each other more often.
