To me the most memorable weddings are those where the couple chooses to buck all the suggestions from the wedding blogs and magazines, discards the traditional things that aren’t as meaningful to them, and embraces the true meaning of the wedding day. From the moment I met with Laura & Angel I knew that I would love every minute of working with them. I haven’t laughed harder at an initial client consultation in a long time and finding common ground was so easy with these two. They have a love of delicious food, enjoy living in my old Seattle neighborhood, and wanted to focus on having their immediate family and close friends at their wedding as opposed to throwing a large, extravagant affair. Laura & Angel have a breathtaking view of Elliott Bay from lower Queen Anne in downtown Seattle, which made their large rooftop deck perfect for hosting the wedding ceremony. They chose Bowman Design to partner with in bringing their vision of a simple but colorful wedding day together. Lisa knocked it out of the park. The bouquet was incredible! We then enjoyed a six course meal at L’oursin in Capital Hill in Seattle as the couple preferred to enjoy a long, fun dinner with their friends and family close by, socializing into the early morning hours. I would happily photograph Laura & Angel’s wedding over and over and over again and will remember their wedding day fondly forever.
Amazing work coordinating and designing this wedding by Bowman Design.
