On their 2nd anniversary, I knew it was high time I finally got around to posting my favorite images from Gavin & Rachael’s wedding at The Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth, Washington. I may be biased towards these two, as Gavin has been a close friend for years and when he found Rachael she was so clearly the perfect person for him. Not only that, they chose to get married where my husband and I were also married AND asked me to photograph it. Clearly, I hit the jackpot with this duo.
Rachael & Gavin filled their mountain wedding with meaningful details that I was instantly obsessed with – like the wraps that Rachael hand made for each bridesmaid. I may have been trying to figure out how to sneak away with her long baby blue peacoat that she wore for some of their portraits because it’s so dang cute. And their corgi, Mr. Dog, joined them for some portraits, too.
Rachael & Gavin – Happy Anniversary and thank you so much for having me along for such an important part of your story two years ago in the Cascade Mountains. I know you both grow closer together and more in love every day and I know you will be happy together forever. Love you guys!
The Sleeping Lady in Leavenworth, Washington is my favorite venue – which makes sense since I was married there, am I right? 🙂 But I’m also permanently in love with snowy winter weddings and hope that I get to add more of them to my calendar soon.
