A Week with the Johnson Family | Documentary Family Photography in Anchorage

It's not too often that dear friends will invite you to their home a thousand miles away from your own, let you sleep in their house for a week, and let you hang out to see what summer in Anchorage is all about.  The Johnson family holds an incredibly special place in my heart, and not only did I convince them to sit down for some posed family portraits, but I was able to document a bit of daily life to go along with it.  (Dad had to be at work most of the days of our adventures, so if you feel like he's not in too many frames, it's because he didn't get an awesome chance to hang out as much!)

Photographed exclusively with a Hasselblad 501C medium format film camera and Hasselblad X-Pan 35mm panoramic film camera.
