Sunset Anniversary Portraits at Wild Horse Wind Farm in Eastern Washington

This day was quite the adventure.  We set off for eastern Washington later than planned, and got to the wind farm after the visitors' center had closed due to a shutdown of I-90.  We were the only humans around.  Just the local cattle shared some space with us.  When we did this session, incredible forest fires were raging less than 50 miles away, blackening the skies to the north east.  It was sobering, to say the least, and this session became much more intimate feeling knowing how alone, yet free, we were.

Nick & Emma are dear friends and this session was amazing.  It was truly an adventure to get there and back, and was a time that we could be reflective and creative together given the beautiful place we'd found.
