Classic Black Tie Great Hall at Green Lake Wedding in Seattle

Drag me!

This classic wedding at the Greet Hall at Green Lake last spring was so perfect!

Alexis & Simon make for such a sweet couple and I was so happy that theirs was the first wedding I got to photograph after Henry was born. Alexis & Simon opted to keep me on as their photographer rather than cancel after I shared with them the news of my pregnancy. I was so excited I would get the chance to continue working with them and was so thankful for their support and love. Henry was born just three weeks before their wedding day, plenty of photographers told me I should have taken at least three months off, but there I was after three weeks – photographing a gorgeous wedding. I had two epic associate photographers with me that day to keep everything covered in case I needed a break (recovery from c-section surgery is no joke) but I am just so happy with how the entire day went knowing all of the details that went into the planning and then being lucky that I had a smooth c-section recovery. Thank you so much to Alexis & Simon for including me – make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see this couple’s epic sunset photos on the Green Lake dock plus Alexis’s surprise reception dress change!

It was so wonderful working with Sprinkled in Seattle and The Great Hall at Green Lake!

ready to tell your story?

Hi, I’m alex! A seattle wedding photographer who’s been documenting your stories since 2009.

I fell in love with photography almost 20 years ago in a darkroom class, and that love has never faded. What started as a darkroom class in college turned into photographing my first wedding solo in 2010,and I was hooked. The joy. The emotion. The vows. The details. The people.

I realized quickly that my fulfillment came from helping people see themselves in a beautiful, honest way. I move calmly. I guide confidently. I know how to capture all the angles and candid moments without you even noticing. My couples often say I have “photo superpowers” because of how much I capture while still keeping everything feeling easy and low-pressure.

Some photographers find wedding days chaotic.

I find them electric.
