This classic wedding at the Greet Hall at Green Lake last spring was so perfect!
Alexis & Simon make for such a sweet couple and I was so happy that theirs was the first wedding I got to photograph after Henry was born. Alexis & Simon opted to keep me on as their photographer rather than cancel after I shared with them the news of my pregnancy. I was so excited I would get the chance to continue working with them and was so thankful for their support and love. Henry was born just three weeks before their wedding day, plenty of photographers told me I should have taken at least three months off, but there I was after three weeks – photographing a gorgeous wedding. I had two epic associate photographers with me that day to keep everything covered in case I needed a break (recovery from c-section surgery is no joke) but I am just so happy with how the entire day went knowing all of the details that went into the planning and then being lucky that I had a smooth c-section recovery.
