What a dream Katie & Brandon’s wedding was to photograph. They were only the 2nd couple EVER to be married at the Columbia Tower’s Sky View Observatory, 73 floors above the streets of Seattle, making it the highest public viewing area west of the Mississippi River. Getting married in such a breathtaking location was only fit for a couple with a beautiful story like Katie & Brandon’s, and I was honored to be chosen as their photographer.
Katie & Brandon knew each other for 17 years before they were married. They knew each other growing up, but never connected romantically until a couple years ago, when they came back into each others’ lives and found love. Katie wore teal high heels on their first date, and appropriately wore matching teal heels for their wedding day (knockout Badgley Mischkas!). These two have a quiet, honest love between them and getting to know them as they planned their intimate wedding and as we got to run around the Seattle waterfront for their wedding portraits filled me with true joy.
Katie & Brandon, I wish you a lifetime and love and happiness. Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your incredible wedding day.
